Yang Sing is a phonetic translation of one of the names of the city of Guangzhou in Southern China – 'the City of Rams'. The Yeung family were all born in Guangzhou, moved to Hong Kong and then migrated to the UK. The Yang Sing was founded in November 1977 by two generations of the Yeung family and based in George Street, Manchester. Tim Kwan Yeung was a renowned dim sum chef amongst the Chinese communities and Harry Yeung's acclaim has extended even further.
